I know, I know. But we saved more $ on our vacation than the total cost of the thing...so, why not?
I'll post more after we've had sufficient time to enjoy our new purchase...most likely tomorrow.

- A hobby I have recently discovered is hunting for new, remote restaurants. I've had Thai, Indian, Turkish, European, French, Italian, all without having to leave Japan. Education goals? Right now I'm just trying to get my generals out of the way so I can transition smoothly into a university. I have been toying with the idea of a career in research psychology for about 7 years now, but find that as my separation date looms closer I grow less sure of that avenue. There is a possibility that I'll decide to attempt a career as a professional snowboarder, a photographer, a tattoo artist, a music producer, a rock star, or a casting director...buuuut, I doubt it. The most viable alternative to psychology would be a few years (or more) in the Peace Corp or Habitat For Humanity or something along those lines. I absolutely love to volunteer, to see a tangible result from my efforts, and therefore wouldn't mind dedicating my life to humanitarianism. Isn't that what college is for though? Discovering and deciding on a career path? I can't wait! : )
